Apparently, antigen recovery requires 15 minutes of heating. But perhaps PCR requires a bit more, maybe 30 minutes. Antigen recovery is performed at a temperature of approximately 100°C. If the PCR temperature is only 80 or 90°C, it increases the required time.
But there might be other reasons for the lie about the heating cycle in PCR. We'll see.
