Lots of people are very sick and dying from cancer treatments and maybe cancer. They will encourage the government to pay any amount of money towards cancer.
I am finding watching your journey very interesting. I think before the end of this year you will have put forward a decent understanding of how things work but you may have a much smaller audience. Be careful about how much actual truth you put in your articles (not just due to soft censorship but also upsetting your audience). Not sure what your end goal with your writing is but it's definitely getting better, more concise and more entertaining. If your audience is shrinking it's not because of your writing skills diminishing.

Wife had been going to an old fashioned doctor for multiple medical conditions. We moved from that rural area, close to a city on the other side of the state. New doctor. All we have seen is nothing but a burgeoning testing industry that we never knew existed. Doctors don't diagnose any more. It is a test or scan or some other procedure for every bloody thing and on a regular basis... all at the tax payers' expense. Plus - Guess who bought out 2 of the local GP clinics/centres? A company that specialises in blood testing services. It's all about profit.
