The fact that people believed babies do not feel pain because these psychopaths told them so is an indication that Mankind has been put under a spell and is not in their right mind. Television helped with this spell and now the wireless grid, especially cell phones and cell towers, has nearly cemented this hypnosis into place. Millions of people are walking zombies glued to their scrying devices with little or no connection to reality.

In addition to my other comment, I should further state that ultrasound is causing massive numbers of premature births (and miscarriages, fetal deaths and stillbirths). Ultrasound usage is one way they are able to get so many babies into the NICU where the babies are daily and repeatedly tortured by these psychopaths. I am a Mother of 4. Almost twenty-two years ago, I had my third child at 39 weeks gestation. So basically he was a full term baby. After two weeks of being born I noticed his toe nail was ingrown so I took him to his pediatrician. The pediatrician recommended I see another doctor. This foot doctor wanted to cut his toe nail off without any pain med of any kind. I protested. He claimed my son was too young to feel pain. The doctor said his nervous system has not developed so he can't feel pain. However every time the doctor came near his foot to grab it, my son would kick his foot. I said give me a minute to nurse him. I can cover myself and him up a bit so he won't see you come out him then, and he will be comforted. My son was an easy child to nurse and took to it minutes after birth.
I still was very uncomfortable with the situation as I believed babies can feel pain. So I covered my son with a blanket, and he latched on to nurse and the doctor proceeded to cut off the offending nail on his toe with my son SCREAMING. I was horrified. I knew he felt that. If he didn't feel anything he would have just nursed right through the procedure.
I said to the doctor he felt that. The doctor insisted he didn't. I am sure the look on my face this time showed I wasn't buying what he was saying. So the ding dong doctor took out his car keys from his pocket and said look. He grabbed my infants foot again and scraped the bottom of his foot with his car key. My son's foot flinched. The doctor looked at me and said I guess he can feel pain. ERRRRR! @sshole! I felt like a horrible Mother. I have driven by this office many times with my son since then and have told my son I have always hoped he would grow up and punch this doctor in the face and tell the doctor that he doesn't feel pain either.
As far as the medical cult that exist still today, and whatever way one feels about abortion, they need to say babies don't feel pain so they can continue on doing abortions where they burn and cut up unmedicated babies alive in the womb. The view point of babies feeling pain may curtail abortions.

It quickly escalated into something altogether quite different as each arm and leg were physically restrained by nurses, with the weight of an additional nurse pinioning my chest by lying over me. Meanwhile, a doctor attempted yet again to perform the procedure, having already failed several times due to my flailing about and crying. As I screamed and cried I recall being told sternly that I was making a fuss.
It was a deeply scarring central pain experience that can never be erased. The central sensitisation of powerful limbic and cortical reinforcement associated with acute pain is installed for life, serving as a rational threat and survival response. The neuroendocrine (HPA axis) pain response now far better understood (1990s), as indeed is the stress response of the General Adaptation Syndrome (GAS) described by Hans Selye (Sympathetic-adrenal medullary response).
